🎤 Speaker Spotlight – GVX Immunology-2026

The Global Vaccines Innovation and Immunology Conference is proud to feature Junwei Li as a distinguished speaker contributing advanced research in vaccine science, virology, and immunology.


👨‍🔬 About the Speaker

Junwei Li is a Professor at The Second Hospital of Nanjing, China. He holds a PhD and has extensive international research experience, including postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Saskatchewan (Canada) and Texas Tech University (USA), as well as research work at the University of Pennsylvania (USA).

His research spans mRNA vaccine technology, universal influenza vaccines, live attenuated and vector-based influenza vaccines, bacterial toxin vaccines, and novel vaccine formulation development. He also studies viral replication mechanisms of Ebola, rabies, and influenza viruses, along with antiviral drug screening, animal model development, and tumor neoantigen research.

At GVX Immunology-2026, he will present an Oral (In-Person) presentation titled:

Influenza mRNA vaccine with engineered panhandle-forming UTRs provides potent protection against seasonal influenza viruses

This study highlights next-generation mRNA vaccine design strategies aimed at enhancing immune protection against seasonal influenza viruses, contributing to improved vaccine efficacy and public health outcomes.
